Artie Berne – Owner/Founder – ArTex Funding - This is Artie's second career. Artie spent 20 years climbing the corporate ranks, culminating in the position of World Wide VP of Sales for High Tech Fiber Optic Semiconductors companies. Artie’s team specialized in board-mounted laser transmitters/transceivers, photodetectors, and multiplexors for the telecom industry – developing datacom/telecom networks.  

Subsequently, Artie was hired and mentored by Ellis Aronson of Performance Capital in Houston, Texas,  where he learned about Invoice Funding (Factoring), and focused on assisting small- to medium-sized companies with cash flow problems. 
 
Artie decided to hang his shingle in 1999 as ArTex Funding to offer the full catalog of loans against all classes of corporate assets to help corporations that are having working capital problems.  ArTex Funding funds corporate lines of credit, term loans, factoring, or unsecured funding.
 
Jason Jones – Regional Sales Director – Jason holds the high distinction of serving our country in the Iraq war as a Pay LoadMaster on the C -130s.  Jason for many years operated a successful rock brokering sales distribution business throughout Texas.

Mike Price has been an associate of ArTex Funding, LLC for 3 years. He  is a licensed mortgage banker with 15 years experience in residential and commercial lending. He has Residential agency, government, DSCR, bank statement, P&L, residential, SPEC construction, and jumbo loan experience.  On the commercial side Mike has closed and funded land, horizontal/ vertical construction, multi- family , rehab, bridge, DSCR.  He has funded deals and is licensed in multiple states.

David McLain’s background includes over 25 years of Commercial Banking experience, predominantly with large Commercial Banks and a few years with small Community Banks.  20+ of those years involved negotiating, managing and monitoring Commercial Loans including: [a] Commercial Real Estate (“CRE”) Acquisition, Residential and Commercial Interim Construction,   His background also includes 4+ years of Bank Operational (Internal Audit) experience and 2+ years of Financial Institutions Regulatory experience.  Educationally, he holds and MBA from Baylor University and a BBA (Finance Major) from Sam Houston State University.
